Our Story
We are Randy and Melody Hulten. We have been married since 1998. We are a blended family with one daughter and three sons. Because of our blended family, we have two sons named Joshua and our two youngest sons are four months apart! In July 2013, we were blessed with our first grandson and our precious granddaughter came along in January 2017 - they are a total blast and love being at the cottage! Randy just retired in March of 2024 after working in the auto business for 40 years. Melody has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom but is kept very busy watching our two grand loves and managing our vacation rental. We enjoy doing projects and renovations around our home and cottage too.
Melody's parents bought the 4 bed cottage back in 1979 and we acquired it from them in 2000. Our family has enjoyed many years of history and made many memories on West Londo Lake and in the Hale community. We have done major updates and renovations in our place through the years. When we are able to be up there to greet renters, we very much enjoy seeing the excitement in our guests as they arrive. We also love to hear and read their guestbook comments of how they enjoyed the lake and cottage.
